HSJ Moradabad is conceptualized as an expression of the city’s high Mughal influence, and its popular metal handicrafts. The interiors are chic, with elements that use varied Islamic references, clean geometries and elaborate patterns.
Every furnishing in this retail space is detailed as an individualistic piece, complementing the interior elements and the retail display, while also celebrating its fine craftsmanship. The plush furniture and the chandeliers have been detailed to enhance the essence of the exhibits, and tie the space together visually.
The furniture is designed to as a mix of classical and contemporary to highlight the decorative glory of maximalism, but with a more understated expression. The material palette, hence, plays with various colours, wooden textures, plush fabrics like leather, and mixed metal details.
The entrance is marked by a warm and luxurious patterned flooring and copper toned ceiling, and hence the furniture was designed in complementary shades of blue and white, to radiate a lush, restrained vibe. Sleek and minimal displays with a touch of gold, accentuate the interiors, while the chic seating designed with clean legs and modern finishes, uses classical elements of elaborate corners, rounded edges and plush upholstery detailing. The feature metallic chandelier is a sculptural piece, inspired by the fragility of jewelry and vitality of nature, that highlights the space and creates a stunning experience.
The diamond section had a predominant presence of blues, whites, and greys, and hence the furniture uses a contrasting color tone of purple and pink. The tall back, geometric, purple chairs, are paired with pink neo classical chairs, and contemporary white sofa chairs with a curved body and linear outer frame, creating a seamless visual balance. The minimal displays and solid, white counters, are also contrasted with palatial neo classical inspired, brown display consoles, with beautiful carved legs, and understated ornate details.
The gold section was imagined in shades of browns, reds and burgundy to create a powerful and regal interior, with a modern flair. Elements like ornate mirrors and gem shaped wall display, paired with modest wooden, linear consoles, and exclusive seating creates an exquisite retail experience. The purple chairs with curved edges, and silver riveting details, along with the cuboidal, red chair with plush upholstery, adds vibrance to the space, creating an awe-inspiring interior detail.
