Villa, Chandigarh
This luxury villa by Omaxe group is an eclectic take on modern minimalism and subtle design detailing in clean, straight lines to create stunning experiences. Imagined as a contemporary and state-of-the-art interior, the design language is playful, comforting and dynamic, having a bold streak of personality.
The fundamental colour palette used is a mix of crisp whites and greys, enhanced by bold colored accents in a nimble assortment of various textures. The functional yet sculptural detailing of each space gives the home a strong character and chic integrity.
The suave formal sitting area with a black sofa in plush fabrics and contemporary wooden arm details, a minimal white tufted chaise, white PU, acrylic solid surfaces and enameled glass center table with neat black, grey and powder blue details, a monochrome carpet with inconspicuous colour highlights and a complementing tree inspired organic metallic wall installation make for an inviting, ultra-modern space.
The grey wall in the casual entertaining zone makes for a perfect backdrop for a minibar with complementing white counter details and bold red bar stools. The neutral toned sofa with a blue highlight, the colorful geometric carpet along with the minimal, chic coffee tables molded in steel, the bespoke chandelier and the organic floral wall installations give the space a refreshing simplicity and modern vibe.
The ample natural lighting in this double heighted space is further augmented by the delicate sculptural chandelier. Inspired by the dew drops on delicate floral bunches, this chandelier is designed as a minimal, drop shaped, wireframed structure with subtle, metallic flower details. It adds a spirited charm to the space, while also adding more volume and depth to the atrium.
The interiors, thus, appropriately echo the sentiment of design being a way of life with conversation sparking Avant Garde products and spaces.
