Art gives expression. Craft gives it form.

An object can be useful and expressive at the same time. I’m explores that relationship through sculptural furniture, applied art and commissions developed in conversation with a setting. The studio’s original profile also describes working with artists commissioned for paintings, sculptures and installations.

The furniture archive offers a clear starting point for understanding this language. The Perched Bird Bench and Play with Jagged Forms collections treat silhouette and composition as part of the object’s identity. These examples are functional and sculptural furniture; they are not presented as separate fine-art commissions or attributed to an unverified artist.

Wood, metal, stone and fabric offer different ways to give an idea physical presence. The studio’s material vocabulary includes brass, copper and mild steel, with handcrafted details, engraving, embossing and inlay appearing across its work. A surface can be quiet or expressive; a structure can become the defining gesture of the piece.

For a commissioned artwork or object, a useful first conversation includes photographs of the intended location, approximate dimensions, the way the space is experienced and references that explain your interests. The relationship to light, adjacent furniture and viewing distance helps describe the context. The studio can then discuss the appropriate scope and the people involved.

Explore the archive for sculptural furniture and material experiments, or contact the New Delhi studio about a painting, sculpture, installation or functional object. Individual authorship, material choices and commission details should be confirmed for each proposal. The photographs here document existing studio work and are references for discussion, rather than a catalogue of available art editions.
